Quest Board

Quest 1: The Cave
It doesn’t take long for you to realize that materia’s a pretty valuable resource in these parts. And it runs pretty expensive in the shops. If you want your own, you’re probably going to have to go out on a quest to find some.
Tifa has posted some locations where materia and other useful items can be found. One is a mysterious cave out past the Chocobo Farm. It’s filled with beautiful stalactites, stalagmites, variously colored chambers, and if you’re lucky, materia.
Of course, since you’re probably unlucky too, it’s also filled with monsters. Bring a sword, bring a friend, and get to work clearing a path to materia!
Quest 2: Gather Ingredients
Items like Potions and Remedies don’t appear out of nowhere. People actually make them from scratch, and each requires very specific ingredients. Many of the chemists in town will pay you to gather the ingredients for them. Since Potions and Ethers and all the other items are vital in this magic-based environment, you can make quite a fortune collecting what’s needed to make them. Unfortunately, a lot of it’s dangerous work that will take you into monster-infested areas. If you’re skilled enough you can go alone, but teaming up would be much wiser, even if you have to share the profits.
Quest 3: Pick Up Shipments
With so many new people pouring in, the shops are getting overwhelmed and placing more and more orders for new stock. Cloud has his hands full trying to get all of it picked up and delivered. Help Cloud by taking on some of the pick-ups and deliveries. It’s mostly things like Potions and Ethers, and sometimes Remedies, Cornucopias, and the like. Cloud will have a list of what things go where.
Quest 4: Reclaim Shipments from Thieves
Of course, amid all of the chaos, there are certain enterprising folks who want to profit off of everything that’s happened. Some important shipments have been stolen before you or Cloud could get to them. Interview witnesses, investigate suspicious areas, and track down the thieves! You may even have to go to Wall Market to reclaim some of the shipments. Be very, very careful if you do. People such as Don Corneo still have a presence down there. Don’t know who Don Corneo is? You’ll soon get an earful from those who do. Better not go without someone who has experience with such characters. If you absolutely have to go without, it’s your funeral. That isn’t a flippant statement.

One of Marlene's friends is missing somewhere in Midgar! Her mother called Tifa in tearful distress. If you're game to poke around collapsing, monster-infested buildings, go rescue that kid! You'll have to check all the Sectors, but her mother thinks Sector 5 or 6 the most likely spots.
